Boston Phoenix, a weekly arts and entertainment newspaper.
In 1992, Mr. Hopkins served as Director of Sales and Promotion for BPI Communications, parent
company to BILLBOARD, and MUSICIAN Magazine, a monthly music magazine. He
realized outstanding growth in advertising and circulation, and acted as an essential resource
to client intermediaries.
In 1992, Mr. Hopkins assisted in the creation and development of The Musicians' Guide to
Touring and Promotion, an annual music-business directory.
In 1997, Mr. Hopkins founded dogtown productions, Inc., an independent
music/film/publishing/promotions/marketing and international distribution company.
