Grindhouse legend Zebedy Colt was no stranger to the special alchemy of adult films and humor. A child prodigy, Colt claimed to have begun his career acting in screen comedies with the likes of Charlie Chaplain and The Marx Brothers. It was during the early 1970s, however, that Colt first drifted into the demimonde of New York grindhouse involved with such films as Sherlick Holmes, The Farmer's Daughters, Unwilling Lovers, The Devil Inside Her and Virgin Dreams.

Synopsis: Chuck and Barney, two loveable but lazy telephone repairmen, are sent off to the airport to repair an in-plane phone. Barney tries his best not to give in to wanderlust, but finally succumbing to the urge to travel, he pushes Chuck into the luggage compartment and the two stow away on a private jet only to parachute into Munich, Germany. With fourteen dollars to their name and a craving for hot and cold running fraüleins, they set out in search of jobs. They first find work in a beer hall where Chuck gets to serve bratwurst to a hungry blonde. From there the duo become security guards to Miss Bavaria, followed by a stint in a strip club where they run afoul of the local mafia kingpin. Ending up in a college sorority house that turns out to be a high-class brothel, Chuck and Barney have no trouble getting into more trouble. Further screw-ups send them running to the Bavarian Alps where they crash a party at a beautiful chalet and make the scene and get it on and on, and on! - with an assortment of beautiful women before running into the mafia bad boys again.

Sins of Reverend Star (1976) — Employing a strange, hypnotic amulet, male members of Reverend Star's cabal lure women into erotic encounters, sometimes staged in elaborate ceremonies inside the organization's lair. In the hopes of discovering the source of Star's mysterious power, a police detective and his female sidekick attempt to infiltrate the group's inner circle. Naturally, his sexy sidekick winds up ensnared in the cult's clutches, but the cop manages to expose the Reverend for the charlatan he really is.

Night of Submission (1976) - A reporter (Carter Stevens) is writing an exposé on a voodoo cult he has just discovered operating out of a New York bar. Inside the cult's lair, ritual whippings are elaborately staged in candlelight, followed by nightlong orgies. Going undercover, the reporter begins to participate in these insidious rituals. After an evening of sadomasochistic debaucheries, however, he discovers that the powers of voodoo have a way of keeping the uninitiated from exposing its decadent secrets. In 1965, the members of The Syn met at the crossroads of '60s psychedelia and pop, performing at London's legendary Marquee club with the likes of Pink Floyd and Hendrix, and recording a handful of underground classics ("Flowerman", "14 Hour Technicolour Dream"). Then, just as quickly, they were gone.

A surprise reunion four decades later saw them record their first-ever album of new material -- Syndestructible -- and hit the road for a few intimate live dates in the US… another first. This show, recorded at Boston's historic Somerville Theater on a cool winter's night in January, finds the band in remarkable form. Featuring original Syn vocalist Steve Nardelli alongside the stellar rhythm section of Syn co-founder Chris Squire (bass) and drummer Alan White (partners in the classic rock supergroup Yes), this DVD captures the band as they give a majestic performance of material new and old, adding an important new chapter to the history of one of art-rock's great (and nearly lost) treasures.
